The Journey to Success: Rising Through the Ranks at NTT DATA

Across various industries and organizations, meaningful and sustainable growth of employees relies on robust learning and development opportunities. As someone who's been with NTT DATA for 17 years, I've felt the importance of learning and development opportunities in fostering meaningful and sustainable growth for our team members.

I believe people who feel they are learning and growing are more engaged, productive and committed. Knowing that the organization values us and invests in our success keeps us motivated to give our best. As a member of NTT DATA, I'm proud to be part of an organization that prioritizes the growth and development of its people. What I appreciate the most are the self-development opportunities offered by the company. As someone always looking to enhance my skills and knowledge, I find the training programs incredibly valuable. Furthermore, the company’s people-centric approach has enabled me to develop personally and professionally.

I was a team leader when I joined the company in 2005. Over time, I've worked my way up to becoming the Associate Director of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) – Delivery and Operations. Throughout my journey, I've had the support and encouragement of amazing leaders who have empowered me to make independent decisions. Under their guidance, I've become a better professional and learned to enjoy the challenges that come with new responsibilities. It's this kind of environment that makes NTT DATA a great place to work.

Proud accomplishments

An accomplishment that makes me particularly proud is my contribution to enhancing business processes through analysis and collaboration, and overseeing time-sensitive transactions that are of utmost importance. Additionally, I take pride in employee engagement activities and volunteer for India's diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. As a DEI champion, I'm dedicated to creating a work environment where all team members feel valued and appreciated.

I strongly believe that creating a workplace culture that values employee wellbeing is critical for the success of any organization. As a leader, I make it a priority to regularly engage with each member of my team through impactful one-on-one conversations that help them grow both personally and professionally. I strive to maintain an open and empathetic line of communication with my team members — a trait I believe is essential for identifying and resolving any team-related challenges that may arise.

Work-life integration

There’s more. NTT DATA recognizes the importance of a healthy work-life integration and encourages its team members to explore their interests beyond work and engage in activities they enjoy. It’s refreshing to be part of a company that cares about our well-being and encourages us to pursue our passions outside work. I find that cooking is my favorite hobby, and it has positively impacted my job performance. It brings me joy and enhances my ability to execute tasks in operations.

Throughout my years in the organization, I've observed significant changes, which have motivated me to continue striving for success. The company’s business model has undergone a significant transformation in the recent years. The brand’s overall progress inspires me to look forward to the future with optimism and continue to support NTT DATA's diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

As a leader, Jacqueline strongly emphasizes building a culture of connectedness within her team. She fosters an environment where team members can collaborate effectively and support one another to achieve shared goals. She is a passionate advocate for the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and serves as a DEI champion in India, leading efforts to drive DEI awareness and action across the organization.
