My journey of growth, balance and opportunity at NTT DATA

When I joined NTT DATA straight out of college about 17 years ago, I was excited about building a career that would challenge me and help me grow. Today, as a client executive in manufacturing and commercial vertical, I manage a large profit and loss statement, strategic client relationships and oversee account team performance. Looking back, I realize how every role I’ve taken on reflects the organization’s culture of growth, support, and learning, which has been crucial in shaping my professional life.
From day one, NTT DATA gave me a platform to learn, take on new challenges, and evolve. I began as a software consultant, working on the technical side of things. Within a few years, I transitioned into a client-facing team lead role, moved into project management, and eventually entered senior leadership. These transitions weren’t by chance, they were the result of NTT DATA’s leadership recognizing my potential and trusting me with bigger responsibilities. Every time I felt ready for more, the organization supported me and encouraged me to step up.
