We’re Moving! Acorio’s Final Integration With NTT DATA

In August 2020, we announced our acquisition by NTT DATA. Two-and-a-half years later, our integration is now entering its final stages. Fittingly, 2023 marks the tenth anniversary of Acorio’s founding. Over the last decade, it has been an incredible journey, growing to approximately 250 staff and working with over 200 clients. Our next chapter as part of NTT DATA is shaping up to be just as remarkable.

Our mission remains to drive true digital transformation for our clients.

That’s why Acorio is now an integral part of the consulting and digital transformation services at NTT DATA - the office responsible for digital transformation at companies around the globe. Since the deal with Acorio, NTT DATA has demonstrated its ambition to be a Top Five IT Services Provider by 2025, with the acquisition of Nexient, VectorForm, Postlight, Chainalytics, Aspirent, Apisero, and Umvel.

If digital transformation is a generational opportunity for clients, we are meeting it here at NTT DATA with unprecedented commitment. It’s hard to overstate how exciting it is to be part of that. The world’s economy is now more interconnected than ever before, as we have seen with recent changes to food and fuel prices following the war in Ukraine. Our integration with NTT DATA’s global footprint, giving us employees in 50+ countries and regions, means we can truly deliver on a worldwide scale to a roster of multi-national clients.

Our partnership provides not just geographic reach but access to global R&D, applications, infrastructure, and investments in digital transformation that instantly benefit our team and clients.

NTT DATA was first attracted to Acorio as the largest pure-play ServiceNow Consultancy in the world and the most experienced Elite Partner. Most recently, our executive leadership team had the opportunity to host Bill McDermott, ServiceNow Chairman, and CEO, at a client engagement event where we were able to share our continued commitment to being an Elite ServiceNow Partner and dedicated innovator in digital transformations.

Furthermore, working with NTT DATA has helped solidify Acorio’s role as the ServiceNow ecosystem’s leading industry partner by leveraging its deep experience in manufacturing, the public sector, financial services, and healthcare.

Our integration with NTT DATA provides significant potential for our clients, deep bench strength, access to technologies far beyond the reach of most ServiceNow Partners, and global reach. The same is true, of course, for the Acorio team, many of whom are already taking advantage of the myriad of career opportunities NTT DATA provides. NTT DATA is a company known for its investment in its people through training, hiring, and research and development. For example, our recently launched NextGen Link program enables us to hire and grow the best-in-class Elite ServiceNow consultants through our partnership.

At our core, we remain focused on our clients and the ServiceNow platform, and with NTT DATA, our team has many ways to explore that.

Over the next few weeks, you will see the final integrations of the Acorio brand into NTT DATA.

That is the most visible sign of all the work we have been doing to align our teams, systems, and process behind the scenes. This will allow us to solve larger, more exciting challenges as we transition from one of the largest pure-play ServiceNow consultancies in the world into the global partner of choice for your digital transformation.

In fact, most recently, we welcomed Abhi Joshi as the new SVP of Configured Platforms and leader of the ServiceNow Practice! Abhi is a technology executive with over 20 years of experience leading and growing teams. He joins us from IBM, where he was Global ServiceNow Practice and Alliance Leader with responsibility for strategy, business development, solutions and offering development, human capital development, and customer success.

We also want to take this chance to thank all the Acorians who have contributed to our journey. Many others have joined because of the potential they see in our new destination as a full member of the NTT DATA family. We’ve been made to feel very welcome - and we are thrilled to see so many sister companies join the movement.

And finally, we want to thank all our wonderful clients. Ten years ago, Acorio was founded to help them with their digital transformation. Much has changed over the last decade, not least our integration with NTT DATA, but that mission remains true to this day.
