NTT DATA Completes Acquisition of Umvel
PLANO, Texas – October 19, 2022 – NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, today announced it has successfully closed its acquisition of Umvel, a digital design and engineering firm headquartered in Mexico City.
The acquisition of Umvel will expand NTT DATA’s Product Innovation, Design & Engineering capabilities in Mexico, enabling the company to better serve clients across Mexico and North America. More than 140 Umvel team members join NTT DATA, growing its Mexico-based team and building on other recent successful acquisitions in the digital design and engineering space including Nexient, Vectorform and Postlight. Umvel will operate under the new brand as Umvel, an NTT DATA company.
