NTT DATA Selected to Provide Enterprise System Consulting Services for State Medicaid Agencies in Hawaii and Arizona

MCLEAN, Va. – February 7, 2022 – NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services leader, announced today that the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), the single state Medicaid agency for the State of Arizona, has awarded a contract for NTT DATA State Health Consulting to provide Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) Roadmap consulting services for the states of Arizona and Hawaii.

With the MES Roadmap contract, AHCCCS will plan extensive system innovation to the decades-old Medicaid Management Information System that supports more than 2 million Medicaid beneficiaries in Arizona. Through an intergovernmental agreement, AHCCCS also supports enterprise system processing for Med-QUEST, the single state Medicaid agency for the State of Hawaii that serves more than 430,900 Hawaii residents enrolled in Medicaid.

NTT DATA will work with the agencies in both states to develop a long-term strategic MES modernization roadmap to achieve compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements to improve interoperability and sustainability of technology solutions that support Medicaid service delivery.
