NTT DATA Selected to Provide IT Consulting for Louisiana Office of Technology Services and Department of Children & Family Services

Enabling a path forward for technology modernization to better serve families

Mclean, Va. – October 28, 2021 – NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services leader, announced today that the Louisiana Office of Technology Services (OTS) and the Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) Child Support Enforcement (CSE) have selected NTT DATA to provide consulting services for its child support information technology modernization planning project.

In collaboration with DCFS, the NTT DATA team was selected to advise on the most advantageous path forward for modernizing current technology and improving related business processes. The focus of the modernization program is to transform how child support services are delivered to families and shift, in accordance with their vision, OTS and DCFS towards greater equity and family-focused outcomes.

“In the department’s efforts to become more family centered and to better serve the diverse needs of our community, we need to improve our current technology,” said William Tilley, DCFS Deputy Assistant Secretary, Child Support Enforcement. “Working with NTT DATA affords us an opportunity to reexamine what has worked and what must be improved. Our goal is to determine how we can modernize the Child Support Program and technology to provide the best user experience and outcomes for the families we serve.”

As part of the 36-month project, NTT DATA will help define the requirements for technology and related business functions, as well as complete a feasibility study. The study’s goal is to provide solution alternatives, cost benefit analysis, gap analysis and support for completing the advance planning documentation to attain federal approval, as well as procurement support.
