NTT DATA Awarded $60 Million Contract by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases

Herndon, VA – March 7, 2019 – NTT DATA Services Federal Government, a public sector subsidiary of NTT DATA Services, a recognized leader in global technology services, today announced the company won a five-year contract with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) for up to $60 million.

NTT DATA will provide IT service desk and field services support to the NIAID Office of Science Management and Operations. NTT DATA will also provide NIAID a wide range of day-to-day general and specialized IT management services that will help advance the agency’s mission of leading research to understand, treat, and prevent infectious, immunologic and allergic diseases.

NIAID previously partnered with NTT DATA beginning in 2013 for help desk and field services support. Over the last five years, NTT DATA’s service delivery enabled NIAID to improve customer satisfaction, response times and first contact resolution, as well as reduce call-handling times.
