PLANO, TX – Oct. 2, 2018 – NTT DATA Services, a recognized leader in global technology services, today announced the company is collaborating with Pivotal Software, Inc. (NYSE: PVTL). Together the companies will modernize businesses through Pivotal Cloud Foundry® (PCF), a leading cloud-native application platform that allows enterprises to reduce operational support and rapidly deploy applications to the cloud.

As an Advanced Partner of Pivotal’s Global SI partner program, NTT DATA created its first Cloud Native Innovation Lab in the Dallas area to accommodate developers, architects and engineers trained in PCF. NTT DATA will use the space to provide integration support to clients adopting cloud-native methods of application and platform development, as well as those migrating legacy systems, to improve productivity and reduce costs.

“This collaboration gives our clients an environment of continuous innovation where we can deliver solutions that have meaningful outcomes for their businesses,” said Eric Clark, Chief Digital Officer, NTT DATA Services. “With Pivotal, we can help increase the speed of software development and cloud migration for our clients.”

PCF, designed for building, deploying and managing cloud-native applications, runs on every major private and public cloud.

“Digital transformation and business modernization will continue to be a priority for enterprises seeking to improve internal operations while also delivering an improved customer experience,” said Nick Cayou, Vice President of Global Ecosystem for Pivotal Software. “We are excited to work with NTT DATA to deliver software rapidly, reliably and at scale, which will enable their clients to respond quickly and meaningfully to market opportunities and threats.”

NTT DATA was recently a Silver Sponsor at SpringOne 2018, Pivotal’s annual conference held Sept. 24-27 in Washington, D.C.
