- Anniversary of NTT DATA’s acquisition of the former Dell Services marked by a year of momentum, recognition and client successes
- State-of-the-art Client Experience Center includes Executive Briefing Center and flexible, immersive Collaboration Center designed to help clients innovate and solve business challenges
PLANO, TX – Nov. 15, 2017 – To mark the one-year anniversary of NTT DATA’s acquisition of the former Dell Services, NTT DATA Services proudly announces the opening of its new Client Experience Center within the company’s North American headquarters in Plano, Texas. An important part of the Client Experience Center, the Collaboration Center, gives clients a new way to solve business challenges through an immersive, creative process using the latest interactive technologies and design thinking.
In the year since the acquisition closed, NTT DATA Services’ focus on delivering client outcomes has contributed to a number of milestones. For example, the company has been included in 173 analyst reports since November 2016. Of the reports that rank service providers, NTT DATA showed upward movement, maintained its position from the previous year, or was included for the first time in 95 percent.
Likewise, NTT DATA Services clients are benefiting from the company's unwavering dedication to client success. Many existing clients are expanding their relationships into emerging and disruptive areas such as digital transformation and new business models. NTT DATA Services expects to realize double digit growth within these accounts in its current fiscal year.
“Employees from the two companies quickly became a unified team focused solely on delivering excellent client experiences,” said John McCain, CEO, NTT DATA Services. “The most exciting part is all the upside that continues to emerge from our combined strengths and blended best practices that are generating expanded opportunities for clients and employees. The Collaboration Center is just one example.”
The Collaboration Center was built to easily adapt to client needs and evolving technology. It features an immersive room with a 360-degree experience utilizing touchscreen technology and high-definition projection that can simulate being in a data center, hospital room, on the roof of a building, or in other interactive environments. This allows clients to visualize current and future aspects of their business. While in the Collaboration Center, clients also have the chance to experiment with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and devices as well as robotics, virtual and augmented reality, and leading-edge social and business analytics that are customized for the visit.
Each visit is created to address a client’s specific business issue or focus area with a defined deliverable as part of the experience. Deliverables could include detailed implementation plans, prototype designs, in-depth customer friction assessments, customer journey maps, and many others tailored to that specific need.
The space is built for easy redesign so the center will always be ready to feature the latest digital technologies. Raised floors and a grid structure on the ceiling enable most technologies to be installed, removed or replaced in a matter of hours, so the space can continuously adapt. Mobile walls allow the space to be customized and configured for each new task or collaboration session.
“Building this Collaboration Center in our new building, without the confines of a predefined space or outdated technologies, has really been an exciting opportunity for our clients and our team,” said Brad Rucker, senior vice president, applications and digital, NTT DATA Services. “It’s a remarkable space where we can create innovative client experiences from scratch. This will be truly transformative for our clients.”
