Plano, TX – April 6, 2016 - NTT DATA, Inc., a leading IT services provider, today announced that it has been selected by Ernest Health to expand implementation of the NTT DATA Optimum Clinicals suite in four facilities in Texas, Ohio, and New Mexico. NTT DATA and Ernest Health have been collaborating since 2013 in the development of software applications to provide the Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) markets with a specialty electronic health record (EHR) solution.  With the Optimum Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) suite already implemented in Ernest Health’s 25 facilities, this clinical development collaboration was the next step in addressing an industry gap existing in the Post-Acute Care EHR market.  After initial implementation, Ernest Health plans to continue rolling out this enhanced post acute care clinical suite to its other facilities.

“While evaluating electronic medical record options, we searched for a product that would allow us to provide the most efficient delivery of quality patient care,” said Darby Brockette, CEO of Ernest Health. “After developing and testing the Optimum Clinicals product in our Mesquite, Texas campus, we’re confident with our decision to move forward with NTT DATA to provide our post acute electronic medical record solution.”

“Ernest Health has long been a valued customer of NTT DATA,” said Mike Jones, senior vice president of Healthcare, NTT DATA, Inc. “Through our collaboration, we have created a next generation electronic medical record system with functionality designed to meet the unique needs of the LTACH and Rehabilitation markets. We look forward to supporting Ernest Health as they continue to deliver the highest quality patient care, while maintaining maximum operational efficiency.”
