Hyderabad, August 26, 2014 - NTT DATA, Inc., a global IT services provider, today hosted Innovar – a mega innovation event at N-Convention Center, Hyderabad.

Innovar has been designed to showcase leading-edge innovations employed within NTT DATA’s technology and industry solutions. Titled ‘Living Innovation’, this year’s event was packaged with key speaker sessions, novel product demonstrations, and a tour of NTT DATA’s innovative spirit across the various booths manned by different practices and industry verticals. As part of the $112 billion NTT Group, NTT DATA also included sister NTT Group companies, NTT Innovation Institute and Netmagic, presenting their innovative solutions to the audience – which comprised several thousand clients, employees, and industry analysts.

Sixteen booths representing various capabilities were on display. The Application Development and Management team took the audience to the future, showcasing their cutting edge innovation, the Enterprise Application Services team featured retail solutions and analytics of unstructured social media data using SAP HANA, and the Cloud Services team showcased their comprehensive cloud portfolio spanning advisory, modernization, operations, and management. Other booths included spotlights on innovation in healthcare and life sciences, financial services, Insurance and “GD 2.0” – NTT DATA’s next-generation global delivery model.

An event such as Innovar is in-line with the NTT Group’s core focus on innovation. It is notable that NTT Group today has an annual investment of $2.5 billion in R&D.
