NTT DATA culminates its nine-day celebration of International Women’s Day with a webinar exclusive, “Challenge Accepted — Uncommon Drive.”

The 45-minute discussion features three special guests who have made their impact in the male-dominant sports industry with diverse career paths.

ESPN SportsCenter host Nicole Briscoe, Extreme E Series racecar driver Sara Price and INDYCAR simulation engineer Danielle Shepherd will share how they achieved success in their respective fields along with the challenges they encountered.

The webinar will be hosted Margo Cooke, NTT DATA Services’ Vice President, Brand, Creative, Events & Sponsorships.

Nicole Briscoe is a television talent for ESPN who serves as an anchor and studio show host for the sports entertainment giant’s flagship SportsCenter daily show. She has been in this role since 2015 and often co-anchors the 7 a.m. ET edition with Randy Scott. Nicole began her career working at local Midwest TV affiliates before shifting the emphasis towards motorsports coverage as a host on the SPEED Channel (2006) and then ESPN’s NASCAR coverage (2008-14).

Chip Ganassi Racing

Sara Price became the first female driver in the 31-year history of Chip Ganassi Racing when the organization announced it would compete in the new Extreme E electric racing series beginning April 2021. The 19-time motocross national champion is accustomed to being the first woman to break barriers, whether on two wheels or four. After a successful motocross career, she continued to lead the path for women in truck racing with several firsts in the SCORE Trophy Trucks and Stadium SUPER Truck Series.

Chip Ganassi Racing

Danielle Shepherd is a simulation engineer in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for Chip Ganassi Racing, one of the most successful organizations in the sport’s history. Danielle, along with a fellow female Chip Ganassi Racing engineer, added to that rich history by becoming the first women in INDYCAR to win a series championship from the engineering stand when Scott Dixon earned his fifth title in 2018. She is in her fifth season with the team, including her fourth in the role of a simulation engineer.
