NAVSEA SeaPort-e

Multiple Award Contract

NAVSEA awarded Dell Services Federal Government a Multiple Award Contract (SeaPort-e) on April 5, 2004. The SeaPort-e Multiple Award Contract uses a combination of innovative contracting vehicles and electronic business techniques, and was initiated to maximize the efficiency and economy of the purchase of professional support services at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) for the NAVSEA Warfare Centers.

SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) makes electronic procurement of technical, programmatic and engineering support services at NAVSEA's Warfare Center community a reality. SeaPort-e extends the current procurement vehicle, SeaPort, by leveraging SeaPort's successful business model and efficiencies. The integration of SeaPort and SeaPort-e emphasizes NAVSEA's strong commitment to the Navy's customers and industry partners. Together, SeaPort and SeaPort-e will help NAVSEA reduce costs and promote business efficiencies in the effort to lead the Navy on a successful course.

Scope

SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services for the Virtual System Commands (SYSCOM), which include NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, SPAWAR, Strategic Systems Program (SSP), and NAVFAC. In addition, other activities, including the Military Sealift Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, and the United States Marine Corps have chosen to use SeaPort-e Work under this vehicle covers a broad range of services, including engineering, financial management, and program management.

NTT DATA Federal team is qualified to support all 22 functional areas in all 7 geographic zones as defined by the contract. Services to be provided under this contract are:
