Dan Allison is vice president and global general manager for the Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) business at NTT DATA Services. In this role, he is responsible for leading the growth, profitability and transformation of the global healthcare business which focuses on provider, physician, health plan and life sciences customers.
Dan is an industry veteran with more than 30 years leadership experience in ITO and BPO services for multiple verticals with a strong focus in healthcare. During his long career, Dan has spearheaded strategic acquisitions and successfully led business transformations that have resulted in significant revenue growth and maximum shareholder value. He has also been responsible for the growth and delivery of IT services to global clients, while controlling a P&L of $7 billion.
Dan has held senior executive level positions at DEAllison Enterprises, LLC, a healthcare and technology consulting firm, Vitalize Consulting Solutions, an SAIC company, and PHNS, a healthcare and BPO services firm. Prior to these organizations, Dan spent 25 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he spent four years in Australia as vice president and managing director, delivering IT services to the second largest bank in Australia. He then returned to the United States to manage one of the largest outsourced telecommunications contracts in the United States. Dan went on to serve as vice president and general manager leading the growth and delivery of IT services for a $7 billion business unit, which represented one third of EDS’ revenue. Dan began his career with General Motors, where he held progressive domestic and international positions.
Dan is a dynamic, strategic executive with an exemplary record of business success, deep domain experience in IT and BPO and strong industry relationships across healthcare.
Dan has served as a member of the board of directors for Arcadia Healthcare Solutions, an EHR data aggregation and analytics technology company delivering managed care to ambulatory networks taking on value-based risk.
He attended the University of North Carolina-Asheville and continued his executive development at the University of Michigan, Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management and London Business School.
Dan and his family live in Frisco, Texas.
